Aja Sheppard is a self-taught artist who stays true to herself. She’s been a reluctant Clevelander all her life, but her imagination extends far beyond the city’s borders. Sometimes urban and other times out of the box, her artistry has a beat of its own. Mainly her artwork focuses on Black Culture, Afrofuturism, Fantasy and Mythology. Though, from time to time, she’s known to craft art pieces that border on the strange and abstract side of art. Nonetheless, every acrylic painting has a story to tell.
