Tom Ondrey is a painter of Ohio's landscapes in watercolors and pastels. Interested in drawing from an early age, he expressed his visual creativity for sixteen years as a full-time working photojournalist before returning to his first love of working with pen, pencil and brush on paper. His artistic aim is to render the world realistically but with an emphasis on color and light that expresses as much what he feels about his subject as what he literally sees.
