Marilyn Farinacci

"The impetus of my work is to create a spatial sense on a two dimensional support. This spatial concept is  emphasized by sandwiching ambiguous forms between multiple layers of paint drips. Importantly, during the creative process it is the underlying unidentifiable fragments that give an energized contrast to the otherwise spatial structure."
