Benefits

Home

Visitors will find the following qualities in my work.
Interactive Elements – Many of my pieces request hands-on interaction from the viewer. When visitors interact with the piece, they create an experience between themselves and the piece. Different levels of participation create the most potential for people to understand the piece. My work is for everyone.
Movement – Movement creates surprise and change. Movement can be subtle or very dominant. Movement can be created through ambient movement or direct contact.
Nontraditional Materials – Use of a variety of materials including found objects, disassembled machines and everyday materials that are normally used for other purposes allows for surprise and variation in texture, color and movement.
Content – Each piece has an underlying story. The title, movement, interactive quality and materials all take part in the story behind the piece. Content can be fact or life experience based.
