Raw & Co.Gallery presents Chicago-based painter Todd Chilton to the Northeast Ohio audience. Infused with the beauty of touch, Todd Chilton's paintings allude to the crisp language of minimalism, which he in turn renders with the open brushwork of abstraction. Broad brushstrokes with their looseness in application undermine strict geometric structures bringing into question the exact rules of their rigid conformations. His focal point is the tension between the process and the pattern. The show runs through Sept. 30. Gallery hours are every second Friday of the month: 6 to 10 p.m., and Saturdays noon to 4 p.m. or by appointment. The gallery is located at 1009 Kenilworth AVe. in Cleveland.
